Three For Free Friday is a new weekly feature where we will highlight the best free games currently available on the App Store. The three games each week may consist of limited time offers, lite versions or permanently free apps, it just depends what each week is like!

Smiles Zen

We reviewed Smiles a while ago and found it to be an excellent match 3 game. Smiles Zen is the puzzle mode found in Smiles in which you have to light up the entire board by making matches. With beautiful graphics, four difficulty levels and over 40 achievements, this is a freebie you don't want to miss out on!

Smiles Zen is free to celebrate Smiles' one year anniversary and will be back up to $1.99 after the weekend.

Scarecrow

Based on a concept similar to Doodle Jump, your aim is to propel a scarecrow as high as you can using corn kernels dotted around the screen. There are various enemies that will obstruct your path and a special invincibility power up which will send the scarecrow speeding upwards. Scarecrow has Plus+ integration so there are scores to beat, achievements to unlock and even challenges to send.

Scarecrow is free for today only so grab it quick before it goes back to its usual 99¢ price.

iGuerilla 2

The original iGuerilla was described as the cheap man's Metal Gear Solid Touch and the sequel greatly improves on it. Your mission is to find General Leeyan, chief of the rebels who are terrifying the region. Most of the gameplay consists of sniper attacks but there are some night missions and mine sweeping thrown in to give some variety. There are 12 missions to play and four difficulty levels to select from, so there's decent amount of content. OpenFeint is also integrated which extends the replay value with online leaderboards and many unlockable achievements.

iGuerilla 2 is free this weekend only so pick it up while you can.
