Sauce Digital, the developer of Killer Pool and Amoebas, are currently developing a game called Nano Rally. It is a top down driving game where you drive miniature cars around various tracks based on different household environments. The developers have provided this video of the game:
All of the races are time trials with points allotted for the top times. Players make their way through the different rallies/environments and stages, with the driver with the most points at the end victorious. The game begins with only one rally, the Kitchen, unlocked and by playing in championship mode players can unlock further environments by placing in the top 10 at the end of the each rally.
The current feature list is as follows:
We're looking forward to the game's release; with 25 different tracks, a championship mode and online high scores it looks like Nano Rally will be a polished game with a lot of content for its price. The controls of a racing game can also make or break it so it's good that Sauce Digital have put in different control methods and the ability to tune your cars in the game. Nano Rally is nearly complete and will be available on the App Store soon at the introductory price of 59p.
