There’s no doubt that the Apple mobile devices would be perfect for trading card games, and precious few have been released. The ones that have been put up for sale aren’t digital versions of the physical games from well known publishers, they are simple titles that don’t have perhaps the appeal or graphical flair as printed cards. Shadow Era looks set to change that; this fall, it will be available as a multi-platform card game with lush artwork, a rich plot and some light RPG elements.
You’ll be able to top up your deck by spending in-game gold, completing trial offers from SuperRewards or simply by paying 59p of your iTunes balance for 15 cards. But you will also have a chance to earn cards each time you level up, too!
Shadow Era looks like it could be a solid title for your device; although there’s no word on when the game will be released, we’ll keep you posted if we hear any more news. Watch this space.
