New in: Aqua Moto Racing 2 and Graveyard Shift

News by Tom Grimes, July 28, 2010

Today brings two fantastic new releases: the sequel to Aqua Moto Racing and a physics game with its own haunting twist.

Aqua Moto Racing 2

Aqua Moto Racing was the first in the Moto Racing series, and provided the solid engine which Dirt Moto Racing runs on. It’s over a year later and Resolution Interactive AB have now released the much improved sequel: Aqua Moto Racing 2. It has the same core gameplay as its predecessors but brings stunning graphics, dynamic waves, and OpenFeint integration to the table. With an exciting 14 championship career with 48 challenging courses across six locations, it has double the content of the prequel and looks to be worth the $4.99 price.

We enjoyed the first game immensely and after a quick run through we can say the sequel definitely lives up to it. If you don’t believe us you can try out the lite version yourself.

Graveyard Shift

We’ve played a lot of physics games and Tumbledrop seemed to trump them all, however Graveyard Shift looks to be something new. The aim in this creepy game is to direct the skeleton back into its coffin by removing various blocks and setting off different chain reactions. Light grey blocks disappear with a tap, brown blocks must touch each other, and crates with a warning label on... explode. Watch the video below to see the game in action:

The game has 72 levels with a steady learning curve and is complete with HD graphics for the iPad and iPhone 4. There’s also a lite version so you can try before you buy.
