Instead of forever battling the undead, as many games would have you do, Infect Them All places you, as the leader of the zombie invasion right in the midst of scenes crowded with healthy people. Your job? Well, it’s in the title.
Even the slightest nibble will turn the citizens of the once peaceful immediate area into a nasty shade of green. You can choose to let go of them or consume their bodies for health, which is decreasing all the time. Let them go and they transform into your servants, automatically flinging themselves against any creature whose skin is not yet a shade of turquoise.
Amass a large enough army and the game can tend to play itself out, as even you struggle to find something to chew on as your rabid forces decimate the vicinity. However, with the addition of gun wielding policemen, chainsaw toting heavyweights and people just out to kick the living snot out of you, the game isn’t a pushover. Happily, you can increase your stats with cash that you earn for total infection of the area; things including more health, more damage and faster recovery time. Even if you fail you can still keep the cash awarded for the people you did manage to infect, making each level easily defeated in time.
The game can get repetitive, but it is really quite addictive. Rounds are short and before you know it you’ve sunk an hour into the game; it can be immensely satisfying. Apart from the main 50 level campaign you also have two additional modes; the survival mode in which you get 8,000 cash to upgrade your guy and then see how long you can survive; and the blitz mode in which you try to kill as many as possible within the time limit. Both are good additions to the game but once you’ve played through those 50 levels you might have seen all that you needed to.
Infect Them All has a great premise, some sweet cartoon graphics, an engaging soundtrack and best of all it’s only 59p in the App Store. Pick it up and let the zombies take over the world.
Although it’s repetitive, Infect Them All is a fun little game in which you, finally, wage war for the zombies instead of against them.

Rolling a ball of snow down a slope can be good fun; unless you’re a zombie. However the game gets repetitive and won’t stay on your device for long.
